Danese is pleased to announce a group exhibition of "Contemporary Ceramics," opening Thursday, November 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. Many of the artists included in the exhibition were part of the Southern California movement, which transformed the perception of ceramics from craft and utility to art and sculpture.

On Saturday, November 19 at 3 p.m., the public is cordially invited to a gallery lecture by Frank Lloyd, art dealer, writer, and curator. He will speak on the work of John Mason, Ken Price and Peter Voulkos, and the development of the ceramics movement in California since the 1950s.
